Hugh Jackman & Sutton Foster: Ready To Go Public

Now that they’re free from their respective spouses, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are looking forward. “They’ve been hiding their relationship from the outside world for so long, sneaking around, living apart, but there will come a time when they’ll want to come out as a couple,” an insider tells Star. “Soon, they may start testing the waters.”

As Star previously reported, the two became close as costars in Broadway’s The Music Man, with Hugh, 56, separating from his wife, Deborah-lee Furness, last year and Sutton announcing her split from husband Ted Griffin on Oct. 22. (Hugh has two grown children; Sutton, 49, has a daughter, 7.)

“Many in the theater world already knew their secret,” says the insider. But Hugh, part of the $30 billion Marvel Comic Universe, wants to tread carefully. “He doesn’t want the negative publicity,” says the insider. “Or to humiliate Deb.”
