When they first started sneakily dating three years ago, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were like teens in love, stealing away for dinner dates holding hands on NYC strolls and attending each others’ theater shows.

But a source claims the love bubble has since popped, as the stress of their respective careers has led to their first “rough patch.” The source explains that Hugh, 56, is filming The Death of Robin Hood in Ireland while also flying back to New York to do performances of his one-man show.

Meanwhile, Sutton, 50, has been prepping for a leading role in Broadways’s Coal Miner’s Daughter. “Date nights have taken a back seat,” says the source. “They’ve been getting snippy with each other.

Sutton will try to plan a romantic evening, but Hugh comes home tired and grumpy.

They’re both used to being the center of attention, and the feeling is they need to make room for each other for this to work.
