Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau aren’t letting distance get in the way of their romance.
The pop star, 41, and the former Canadian prime minister, 54, are “determined to make” their long-distance relationship work, according to a Wednesday, March 17, report from People.
Despite their packed schedules, the pair have been putting in the effort to stay connected. “The priority for both of them is stability for the kids,” a source told the outlet, noting that Perry and Trudeau have been flexible and travel whenever possible to spend time together.
Perry shares daughter Daisy Dove, 5, with ex Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau shares three children — Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 17, and Hadrien, 12 — with estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

According to the source, the couple understood from the start that their relationship wouldn’t be easy.
“They knew their lives were complicated,” the source added. “But they really wanted to see where things could go.”
The pair were first linked in July and made their relationship Instagram official in December. Since then, Perry has shared glimpses of their time together online, including playful selfies and candid moments.
Even while Perry was on her “Lifetimes” tour in 2025, Trudeau reportedly made an effort to watch her in action — a sign, the source says, of just how serious they are about each other.
