Apple Martin may be the daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, but despite the A-list blood that runs in her veins, the model is just trying to be her own person.
In a candid interview with The Daily Telegraph that was published on October 14, Apple, 21, claimed that she still has to put in the hard work in whatever she wants to do despite having famous parents.
“I constantly remind myself how grateful I am to have these opportunities,” she noted.
“I know this is not a normal way to grow up by any means. But my parents did a really good job of instilling in me that I shouldn’t be entitled to anything. I have to work,” Apple said, adding that she is “trying to have a normal college experience.”

Apple is currently a student at Nashville’s Vanderbilt University where she is studying law and history, and recently became the face of fashion brand Self-Portrait.
She also opened to the English newspaper about starring in the label’s newest campaign.
“Debuting with Self-Portrait was a no-brainer – their British spirit reminds me of growing up in London, so it’s felt like home from the start,” she explained.
“Plus, the collections are gorge and approachable! Han and the team welcomed me in as part of the creative process and I am having a lot of fun learning along the way,” Apple continued. “I’m so excited for this campaign to be out in the world and for us to continue exploring this side of my creativity together.”
Apple and Gwyneth, 53, also recently starred in a Gap ad together, where they posed together in a series of stylish and funny snapshots.
