Former Nickelodeon Star Amanda Bynes Hints at New Career as She Teases Upcoming EDM Track

Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes might be taking her career in a new direction.

In a new Instagram post shared on Monday, January 19, the All That alum, 39, posted a clip of her new EDM song that appeared to be titled “Girlfriend.”

“@realyungyogi @zvbbv @nikkipaigenarage cooking up in the studio,” Bynes captioned the post. “Want this to be a dance trance edm track. We’ll see where we go with it.”

The career pivot came less than a year after the She’s the Man star announced she had launched an OnlyFans account. While the site typically features adult content, Bynes made it clear that wasn’t what she was going to include on her account.

“I’m on onlyfans now! Disclaimer: I’m doing onlyfans to chat with my fans through dm’s,” Bynes clarified via her Instagram Stories on April 15. “I won’t be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join.”

Bynes has dabbled in a variety of different creative outlets since saying goodbye to acting. She graduated from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2019 before deciding to dip her toes into the world of podcasting.

“The 1st episode of my podcast did really well,” Bynes said via Instagram stories in December 2023. “I was actually surprised and of course was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to.”

That venture was short-lived and after publishing one episode, she announced that she wanted to become a manicurist.

“After thinking about it, though, I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job,” Bynes shared. “I’m going to follow that path instead. Thank you for following my journey!”
