Drake shocked fans after revealing his father was battling cancer on his new album Iceman — but Dennis Graham says that’s old news because he’s already beaten the disease.
The rapper (legal name: Aubrey Graham), 39, appeared to reference his dad’s health issues on the song “Make Them Cry.”
“My dad got cancer right now, we battlin’ stages,” Drake raps on the emotional track.
The Grammy winner, who dropped three albums in one day — Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour — did not elaborate further on the situation, though fans quickly flooded social media with concern for Dennis, 71.
“Get better Dennis we’ll be praying for you,” one fan wrote under a May 14 Instagram snap that Dennis shared of him hugging his son moments after the release of the trio of albums.

“The Ice Man and The Nice Man just doing what we do, don’t get it twisted,” he captioned the shot.
However on Friday, May 15, a TMZ photographer spoke with Drake’s father outside a West Hollywood cocktail bar and Dennis shared an update on his health.
“That was a while back,” Dennis explained. “I’m OK now.”
Dennis noted that he has cut back on smoking after being diagnosed with lung cancer, but said doctors later informed him the cancer had “disappeared.”
“I’m wonderful,” he added, expressing his gratitude for fans showing their concern. “From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate it.”
