Dakota Johnson Steps Out With Younger Musician Following Split From Chris Martin

Dakota Johnson appears to be turning the page on her love life. Seven months after her split from longtime partner Chris Martin was reported, the 36-year-old actress has sparked romance rumors with younger musician Role Model.

The pair were spotted enjoying a low-key dinner together just before Christmas, according to photos obtained by TMZ. In the images, Johnson and the 28-year-old singer-songwriter — whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury — sat close together at a crowded restaurant, chatting comfortably with friends.

Sources told the outlet that the two appeared cozy throughout the evening, fueling speculation that the outing was more than just a casual hang.

The sighting comes amid reports that Johnson has been quietly moving on. A source previously told People that the actress has been “slowly dating again” and feels lighter and more at peace now that her long, on-again, off-again relationship with Martin, 48, is officially behind her.

Meanwhile, as Star reported in November, Martin has seemingly been struggling to fully move forward. Though he’s been spotted with Sophie Turner, a source told  Star the Coldplay frontman has very much been on the rebound.

“Chris did not want things to end with Dakota,” the source explained, claiming he tried multiple times to rekindle the romance. But Johnson, the source added, was determined to end what had become “pretty toxic” and a “yo-yo cycle,” fueled by unresolved marriage talks and mounting tension.
