The video showed her first marriage to Nick Cokas, who is 19 years her senior, before moving onto her current marriage with music legend David Foster, who is 35 years older than her.
“One day she will find her real inner confidence, but it won’t come until after she is disgarded [sic] enough times by the problematic men she backs,” Stause, 44, commented. “An insecure woman will steal your man, and give the worst advice.”
The remarks quickly ignited backlash and discussion across social media, with fans split over whether the comments were brutally honest or unnecessarily harsh.
The Netflix fan favorite later went on to write on Threads, “If you’re in these streets campaigning for Trump backed Pratt, yeah, I’m gonna eye roll your advice on men Katherine [sic].”
In an interview with People in 2024, she insisted they don’t think about their ages in general.
“We’re both very similar in this way,” she said at the time. “I welcomed my 40s, and David didn’t have any conversations about, like, ‘Oh, I can’t believe I’m 75,’ or I didn’t say, like, ‘Oh, I can’t believe I’m 40. I’m really mourning that.’”
“It’s like we sort of just accept life as it comes, and we’re not fighting getting older, because it just keeps getting better,” she added.
