Chad Michael Murray’s Happy Reunion

It was like old times for Chad Michael Murray, who’s reprising his role as motorcycle-riding dreamboat Jake from 2003’s Freaky Friday for the long-awaited sequel, Freakier Friday. “It was awesome. It was just a nostalgia trip,” the 43-year-old recently gushed about reteaming with Lindsay Lohan. “It felt like a high school reunion, you know?”

In the 20-plus years since Lindsay’s Anna swapped bodies with her mom (Jamie Lee Curtis), plenty happened for Chad. He married and divorced his One Tree Hill costar Sophia Bush, then wed his Chosen costar Sarah Roemer, with whom he has three kids. Lindsay, 38, has had a rockier path, with many legal issues and arrests, but seems to have found her footing in her 2022 marriage to Kuwaiti financier Bader Shammas, dad to her only child. “It felt like no time had passed,” said Chad, “and yet we had entire lives in between.”
