Fans have been happy to see Cameron Diaz back onscreen with Jamie Foxx in the spy caper Back in Action.

The 52-yearold hadn’t been in a movie since 2014’s Annie, taking time off to wed Benji Madden in 2015, welcome two kids and launch her organic wine brand, Avaline. The Charlie’s Angels actress recently admitted she also stepped away because she was tired of “inappropriate” behavior on set. “There was always just like that one guy, you know, on set, that you were like, ‘God, here he comes again,” the former model told the Skip Intro podcast of creepy encounters with men. “There was always layers and layers of inappropriateness that you just kind of had to put up with.”

Coming back, she continued, she was pleasantly surprised. “The industry is different,” she noted. “I mean, I definitely have to say that #MeToo changed everything. You walk onto the set and it’s different.” Cameron said she was approached by a human resources pro and given an anonymous tip line to report any issues. The care made the actress – who once sued a photog who tried to blackmail her with threats to release explicit footage of her feel safe. “I had never felt that before this film.”
