Bryan Adams was forced to postpone a concert in Australia on Sunday due to a sewage issue at RAC Arena in Perth caused by a “large blockage of fat, grease and rags.”

“Tonights show at RAC Arena has been postponed,” Adams wrote on Facebook Sunday. “Im really sorry we couldnt make this happen tonight — I was so looking forward to seeing you all. I appreciate your patience and support and cant wait to be back and play for you as soon as we can reschedule.”

RAC Arena said in a statement the concert was postponed due to “an external Water Corporation water supply issue.”

The concert was canceled “due to the risk of sewage backing up within the venue toilets, posing a potential public health risk,” the water utility said in a statement.

“Our crews are working to clear the large blockage of fat, grease and rags, which has caused several wastewater overflows at properties along Wellington Street,” Water Corporation said.

“People should avoid contact with any pooled water in the area of Wellington Street, Perth, as it may be sewage following a major blockage on a sewer main along Wellington Street,” the utility said.

Adams is currently touring Australia, and earlier this month released “Roll With The Punches,” the title track of his upcoming 16th studio album.
