Benji Madden Gushes Over Cameron Diaz: “She’s a Force of Nature — He’s in Awe of Her”
Benji Madden recently gave a glimpse into his decade-long marriage with Cameron Diaz, playfully confessing on Rob Lowe’s Literally! podcast that a healthy dose of “fear” is the secret to their happiness, “in the best way.”
The Good Charlotte rocker, 46, clarified that the mom of two is a “powerful woman” and “force of nature… who [doesn’t] want to be with a pushover guy” and that he relishes having an equal partner. Says an insider, “He’s in awe of her, not just as a wife and mother, but as a person.”
The Back in Action star, 52, revealed last year that she and Benji (parents to Raddix, 5, and Cardinal, 1) also “depend on” couples therapy to keep their union strong. “They’re far from perfect, and they don’t try to be,” notes the insider. “But what they have is real. Cameron feels so lucky to have Benji.”
