Ben Affleck’s Regret: Actor Wants a Second Shot with Ana de Armas After Jennifer Lopez Split

Now that Ben Affleck is officially divorced from Jennifer Lopez — whom he re-wooed nearly two decades after they first split — the actor is feeling wistful for another ex, Cuban actress Ana de Armas.

Ben, 52, met Ana, 36, on the 2019 set of Deep Water, and the duo spent the first year of the pandemic cocooned together. “Ben was going through some serious stuff when they dated, and he feels bad the relationship ended,” says a source. “If given the chance, he’d try again.” Ana, however, has moved on with Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba’s dictatorship-linked president, and ditched L.A. for rural Vermont. Not that any of that deters the Oscar winner.

“Ben sees her current relationship as something that won’t last,” says the source.

“He’s a big believer in second chances. He was holding back from dating out of respect for Jennifer, but if he gets another opportunity to be with Ana, he’s going to take it.”
