Around 2AM on July 15, Chris Brown’s brand-new San Fernando Valley house was invaded by three armed men. Upon finding the pop star’s aunt alone in the home, the robbers held her at gunpoint and, according to reports, told her they’d staked the place out specifically, with full knowledge that Chris was the owner. After locking the frightened woman in a closet, the crooks rummaged through the house, turning it over in an effort to find whatever valuables they could, making off with a laptop, cash, a cellphone and other items, before fleeing the scene.

No word on whether a burglar alarm is installed at the house, but if it is, it was not on. Brown’s aunt called 911 after the thieves left. Although the cops rushed to the scene, the bandits were already gone. The 26-year-old entertainer was not home when the incident occurred, and was in fact just leaving Argyle, a Hollywood club, around the same time that his home was being broken into, the source confirmed.

Reports claim that Chris may actually know the men responsible. His mom, Joyce Hawkins, tweeted “Watch who you standing beside”, shortly after finding out what happened. Sources say they have argued for years about his questionable choice of “no good-ass friends”, who are paid to hang around with him for a living.

Chris recently moved into the sprawling new home to get a fresh start after putting his Agoura Hills, Calif., house on the market following an unrelated event back in May, when an unhinged 21-year-old woman broke into his home and made herself comfortable for a few days while the “Liquor” singer was out of town. The creepy fan vandalized his kitchen and a couple of his cars, before being found naked by Chris and his crew upon their return.
