Diddy got a little too gritty with a kettlebell and ended up in jail!
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested following an altercation with his son Justin Combs’s strength and conditioning coach at UCLA on June 22.
The coach in question is none other than Sal Alosi, famously suspended from his assistant coach position with the NY Jets, for purposely tripping Miami Dolphin Nolan Carroll on the field during a game with the Jets back in 2010.
According to reports, the once relevant coach was “riding Justin badly,” berating him on the field during Sunday’s workout session, as Diddy watched in a silent rage. The next day the hip-hop super producer went to visit Alosi in his office to talk about what he believed to be a personal “issue” the coach has with his son.
Alosi was on the phone when Combs arrived, and allegedly told him to ‘hold on,’ which according to sources, sent the mogul into a heated frenzy. A verbal dispute ensued, leading Alosi to snap and lunge for the 45-year-old entertainer, who clearly was not having it, and promptly picked up a heavy iron kettlebell, swinging it at the coach, in defense. Although no physical contact was made, Alosi took issue with Diddy defending his son and then himself, and he called the cops, who arrested Combs. After initially holding him on the UCLA campus, the Bad Boy was cuffed and transferred to the LA county jail, where he posted $50,000 bail that evening.
Sources confirm that Diddy was charged with one count of making terrorist threats and three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Looks like this story is in the wee stages of development so we’ll just have to wait and see the outcome!
