What’s it like getting compared to the Duggars? According to Sadie Robertson — not so bad at all!
The Dancing With the Stars contestant’s family appears on Duck Dynasty, so both groups found fame on unexpectedly in-demand reality series. Plus, they’re both very open about their conservative, Christian viewpoints and backgrounds.
“It doesn’t bother me at all,” Sadie told E! News of the comparisons. “Actually, I met the Duggars once and they’re great people, and so to be compared to them is actually an honor, not anything bad.
In fact, the 17-year-old says she would even welcome the opportunity to get to know the family even better. “They’re wonderful people,” she gushed. “I actually wish I could hang out with them more because we actually do have a lot of the same values. So it’s cool to be compared to them.”
Sadie and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas are currently preparing for the Dancing With the Stars finale on Monday. She’ll be competing against Bethany Mota, Alfonso Ribiero and Janel Parrish for the mirror ball trophy.
