“Mama June” Shannon continues to dig herself into a deeper and deeper hole. On Monday, Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell came forward with another interview about her mom’s relationship with registered sex offender, Mark McDaniel
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch recently began spending time with ex-boyfriend McDaniel, the same man who molested Anna when she was just 8-years-old.
“Mama didn’t believe me for a while,” Anna explained on Dr. Drew on Call. “She was like, “Why did you do that? How could you do that to me. I can’t believe you did that!’ And I’m like, ‘Mama, you know, HE did it. I can’t take the past back, either you believe me or you don’t believe me. It doesn’t matter to me.'”
In fact, the reality star even went as far as to ignore her young daughter’s horrifying story. “After I told her it happened, she didn’t believe me and we just never talked,” Chickadee revealed. “She was like, ‘I’m done talking about this now. I’m done with it. I don’t want to talk to you no more.’ Eventually she just said, ‘Hey, we need to put this behind us. Forget what he did.'”
Anna added that she’s talked to her mom as recently as yesterday or the day before, but Mama June still hasn’t apologized “for even seeing him or being around him.” “I’m waiting for her side of the story to come in,” she admitted.
Once news broke about June’s re-found relationship with McDaniel, TLC canceled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
