When Joe Manganiello admitted in an interview that Sofia Vergara was his celebrity crush, he probably had no idea he’d be dating the actress by the time the article came out for the public! The True Blood star got luck, though, and that is, in fact, what happened.
“I had forgotten that I had said that and then when the magazine came out, by that time, we were seeing each other,” he revealed during an interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. “And when I got the magazine and opened it up and read it I had forgot I said that. I was just laughing.”
So…how did his new lady react to the interview? “She was laughing,” he admitted. “She said that I was crazy for having said that out loud and in a magazine.” On the bright side though, Joe added, “But I guess it worked!”
Shortly following Sofia’s split from Nick Loeb in May, she began dating the 37-year-old, and they’ve been seen together non-stop over the last few weeks.
