If you’ve missed keeping up with the original Teen Mom cast, you’re in luck! Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood will be returning for a new season of the show in 2015. Fourth cast member, Farrah Abraham, will not come back for the re-vamp.
Teen Mom ended in 2012, but the three ladies returned for catch-up specials throughout the last year. This fall, another catch-up special will air, and the new season is expected to premiere next year.
These days, of course, things are very different for the girls — and their five-year-old kids! Amber was recently released from jail, and has enrolled in school. Meanwhile, Maci is in a new relationship with Taylor McKinney, who we’ll meet on the show, and will graduate in December…with a job! We’ll also get to see Catelynn, along with Tyler Baltierra, plan for the birth of their child (they famous gave up first daughter, Carly, for adoption on 16 & Pregnant) and prepare for their wedding.
According to a recent study, the teen birth rate in the United States has dropped more than 20 percent since the show’s first season.
