Zac Efron took a hit to the mouth on Sunday, when he was part of a street fight in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday. According to TMZ, cops saw the actor and his bodyguard engaged in a full-blown scuffle with at least three others.
The site reports that the 26-year-old actor and his bodyguard were waiting in the car because they’d run out of gas. They claim they threw a bottle out the window, and transients believed it was aimed at them. This caused the unidentified opponents to attack the bodyguard, with Zac getting involved (and punched) once he tried to help.
“It was the hardest I’ve ever been hit in my life,” he reportedly told cops. The incident occurred in a known-to-be dangerous area of Los Angeles.
Last year, the That Awkward Moment star’s jaw was wired shut after he broke it by reportedly slipping on a puddle. Before that, he secretly completed two stints in rehab.
