Cops arrested four suspected heroin dealers on Tuesday night, who may have sold Philip Seymour Hoffman the drugs that led to his overdose.
According to the NY Post, the police raided a Manhattan drug den on Mott Street. The raid occurred after they received a tip that the late actor had bought heroin at the building a couple of months ago.
The newspaper reports that authorities received a search warrant before entering, and found 350 envelopes of what appeared to be heroin in the building. Two men were arrested for felony drug possession, and two younger suspects were charged with misdemeanor drug possession.
Philip was found unconscious in his apartment on Saturday, Feb. 1, with a needle in his arm. His family and friends will be holding a private service in New York.
