It’s been months since Hurricane Sandy struck the east coast, but several towns are still living and dealing with the damages brought by October’s storm. One of those places is East Rockaway High School in Long Island, NY, which was displaced during the hurricane.
On Thursday, June 20, though, the students from East Rockaway got a lucky treat when Rent the Runway hosted a Dream Prom for them! The event took place at a castle-like venue, and featured performances from Glee’s Darren Criss and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. The singers even took the time to hang with the kids and pose for photos.
