After just two seasons, Lifetime has canceled Jennifer Love Hewitt’s drama The Client List. However, it’s apparently more than just ratings that caused the series to come to an end.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the decision also comes after the show’s studio conflicted with Jennifer, who is also a producer for the show, about the third season’s storyline. Over the summer, the actress announced her real-life pregnancy with costar (and now fiance) Brian Hallisay, and apparently she wanted him as her baby’s daddy on the show, too…a decision that not everyone agreed with.
The Client List’s second season finale only brought in 2 million viewers, and with other successful dramas on the network, that just wasn’t enough!
