WATCH: Lea Michele's Tear-Filled Speech for Cory Monteith

A month following the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, Lea Michele made her return to the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. Fittingly, the actress won the award for Choice TV Actress: Comedy, and dedicated it to the 31-year-old, who unexpectedly passed away from an accidental overdose on heroin and alcohol July 13.

Joined by some of her Glee co-stars, Lea hit the stage in a summery, pink and white dress, where she gave a tearful speech in honor of the late actor. “I just wanted to be here today to personally thank all of you and tell everyone how much your love and support has meant to me over these very difficult last few weeks,” she said. “Not that I had any doubt before, but you guys are most certainly the greatest fans in the world.”

In her dedication to Cory, Lea added, “For all of you out there who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with you’re love we are going to get through this together. He was very special to me and also to the world. We were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart.”
