Sometimes, you just have to get emotional over the Spice Girls! Emma Stone had one of those moments while being interviewed on Australia’s 2Day FM Thursday, which is usually co-hosted by one of the girl group’s members, Mel B.
Unfortunately, the America’s Got Talent judge couldn’t make Thursday’s show, but popped in to say hello to the Amazing Spider-Man 2 star. “Oh my God!” Emma gushed. “Is Mel B. talking to me?!” It turns out that Mel happens to be a fan of the actress, too, and the ladies shared a moment.
However, then the singer brought up an interview the 25-year-old gave in 2012, where she said she always wanted to be Baby Spice. “Your punishment is that I want you to do a rendition of one of the Spice Girls songs,” Mel laughed. Being the great sport she is, Emma complied, and sang a respectable version of the band’s hit “Wannabe.”
