Sick Claims

T.J. Miller Accused Of Beating, Sexually Abusing College Student

The comic allegedly 'anally penetrated' woman with a beer bottle.

Silicon Valley star T.J. Miller has been accused of sexually assaulting and punching a woman over ten years ago.

“He just tried a lot of things without asking me, and at no point asked me if I was all right,” the woman told The Daily Beast. “He choke[d] me, and I kept staring at his face hoping he would see that I was afraid and [that he] would stop… I couldn’t say anything.”

She added that the two had a relationship for some time but after just a few months of seeing each other, he became extremely violent.

“[We were] fooling around,” the woman said, adding he began “shaking me violently.” She claimed she had a lot to drink and can’t remember many details of the alleged assault, but she vividly recalls him punching her in the face during intercourse.

The woman claimed that when she confronted Miller about it the next day, he told her she had fallen down the stairs.

“I couldn’t bring myself [at the time] to believe this had happened,” she said. “It was me not wanting it to be true.”

During another instance, the woman said Miller choked her until she couldn’t breathe and anally penetrated her using both his penis and a beer bottle.

“He pulled me back to bed and more things happened,” she said. “He anally penetrated me without my consent, which I actually believe at that point I cried out, like, ‘No,’ and he didn’t continue to do that—but he also had a [beer] bottle with him the entire time. He used the bottle at one point to penetrate me without my consent.”

“I was fully paralyzed,” the woman added.

The alleged victim – who wishes to remain anonymous – claimed that the abuse was known by many in their Hollywood circle, but never addressed. She reportedly told the publication that she did not want her name released for fear of repercussions.

After the allegations came to light, Miller and his wife, Kate, shared a statement to The Daily Beast, claiming the actor was wrongfully accused.

“[The woman] began again to circulate rumors online once [my and Kate’s] relationship became public. Sadly she is now using the current climate to bandwagon and launch these false accusations again,” the Millers wrote in their joint statement. “It is unfortunate that she is choosing this route as it undermines the important movement to make women feel safe coming forward about legitimate claims against real known predators.”

Despite Miller’s denial, the publication obtained substantial evidence that the abuse occurred. Various of the women’s colleagues backed up her allegations, as did her ex-boyfriend, who claimed she told him of the sexual assault as soon as it happened.
