THERE’S no shame in admitting defeat, ladies. Michael Fassbender is ready to take the next step with girlfriend Alicia Vikander.
“Michael has come to realize that he’ll never find anyone so perfectly suited for him,” reveals a source close to the couple, who fell in love on the set of The Light Between Oceans in 2014. “They’ve always been competitive career-wise, but Alicia doesn’t nag or hassle him and his family absolutely adores her. Even Michael’s strict Irish mom wants him to put a ring on Alicia’s finger already!”
After spending the last three years adrift, the Alien actor, 40, and the Tomb Raider star, 28, plan to put down permanent roots in L.A. Adds the source: “They’re excited to start building a life together.”
