Meghan Edmonds Quits ‘RHOC’ To Become A ‘Real Housewife’

I will miss ‘Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge,’ said the pregnant star.

Meghan Edmonds is leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County! As RadarOnline.com has learned, the pregnant reality star shared the shocking news via her blog this Tuesday.

“Today is a bittersweet day for me,” began the 33-year-old beauty. “After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is The Real Housewives of Orange County I’ve decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat.”

Meghan, who is married to baseball star Jim Edmonds then explained that she hoped to focus more on her love life and pregnancy rather than on her hit show.

“As you might suspect filming this show takes a massive emotional toll,” she continued, “filming is grueling!”

Meghan admitted that after undergoing IVF and becoming pregnant with her first child, she was extremely exhausted after every film session.

She said that during her third season, she had to hire a live-in nanny to help her with the everyday “mom stuff” while she focused on filming for RHOC.

“I was hormonal and EXHAUSTED,” confessed Meghan Edmonds. “My mind was often foggy as I filmed but I put on a great face and did it because I loved being a Housewife and was so grateful for my opportunity… I had no idea how exhausted I actually was until I wasn’t exhausted anymore! Season 12 was a real challenge for me.”

“As I was filming the season 12 reunion I knew in my heart I was done: this wasn’t my place anymore,” the blonde beauty continued in her long statement.

After Meghan learned that she was pregnant with twins, she decided her time in reality television was definitely up.

In her sweet message, she said that she told husband Jim, 47, of her decision, and later show host Andy Cohen. Both were extremely supportive.

“I’m sad to leave RHOC, I’m sad to leave Orange County,” added Meghan, before revealing that she and Jim would now be living full-time in St Louis.

“I wanted to spend more time with my husband during baseball season and more time with my two young step kids,” continued Meghan. “Jimmy and I have decided to dig our roots into the Midwest as we begin to build our dream home for our rapidly expanding family.”

She also stated that she would be focusing on K Hall Studio and her line, The King Collection, from now on.

“I know this is what I must do,” concluded Meghan Edmonds, before saying that she would miss her “soul sisters” and former costars, “Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge.”

“I guess it’s time for me to become an actual real housewife of sorts,” concluded Meghan Edmonds, with a bang.
