Latest Things To Know About The Bomb Attack In Manhattan

The chaotic scene exposed.

After a bomb exploded in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 17, police continue to look for answers. The attack injured 29 people, but no deaths were reported.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio spoke to the press a few of hours after the incident, calling it an “intentional act.” He also warned police were searching for a second device at the time — which was located a few blocks away from the first explosion in the early Sunday morning hours. Officials say the second device was a pressure cooker that had a cellphone and wires attached. The second device was immediately removed.

As of now, the NYPD continue to search for other devices or clues.
