Wheelchair-bound “Woodstock” songwriter Joni Mitchell is facing the final curtain, fans fear. Two years after suffering a brain aneurysm, the music legend stunned onlookers with her bloated appearance at Elton John’s 70th birthday bash in Los Angeles. “Joni was unrecognizable!” dished a spy witness. “She’s packed on a ton of weight, and couldn’t stand on her own. “Sadly, it looks like she may have only months to live!”
The “Big Yellow Taxi” singer was rushed to the hospital in 2015 after being found unresponsive at her Bel Air, Calif., home. The aneurysm reportedly left her in a coma and she spent months in the hospital undergoing intense physical therapy. Joni has also battled a mysterious condition known as Morgellons disease that reportedly creates fibers that sprout from the victim’s body! She said Morgellons made her feel she was being “eaten alive” by parasites under the skin.
“At the height of my illness, I couldn’t even wear clothing. I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t leave my house for seven years,” she confessed. The “Both Sides, Now” star has struggled with a number of health issues over the years.
