Eyewitness Recounts Jennifer Lawrence’s Pole-Dancing Night

The source says she and her pals were 'slamming down shots.'

WITH what seems like a never-ending string of movies in the theaters and projects in the loop, it’s clear that Jennifer Lawrence loves to work. And by the looks of a number of amazing new photos obtained by Star, J.Law likes to work it, as well!
While filming the spy thriller Red Sparrow in Austria, the Academy Award-winning actress, 26, spent a wild night away from the set letting off steam at Vienna’s Beverly Hills Club, a high-end bar and strip emporium just a few blocks from the Sofitel Stephansdom hotel, where she and the crew were staying. “Jennifer arrived at the club at about 11 p.m. on the night of April 27,” says an eyewitness. “She was with four friends — three men and a woman — and her bodyguard, and they settled into a secluded section of the club. Even though Jennifer already seemed tipsy when she arrived, the group ordered Beluga vodka and began slamming down shots.”
The eyewitness adds that at various points in the evening, before they left at 4 a.m., “Jennifer grinded into one of her male friends from behind; crawled on to the stage, grabbed some money that was on the floor and spanked herself on the backside with it; then took off her top and tried to do a sexy spin on the stripper pole in her bra — but she ended up collapsing in a drunken heap on the floor, and her friends had to help her up.”
GOOD-TIME GIRL
This wasn’t the first time Jennifer has been spotted at a strip club with a booze buzz. While shooting Hunger Games: Catching Fire in Honolulu in 2013, she hit up “last call” with pals at Club Femme Nu, after they had reportedly been downing shots of tequila at her hotel bar.
J.Law has been totally open about how much she loves her spirits; she once claimed that the aroma of cabernet “is always seeping from my pores.” By her own admission, she got “really, really drunk” before shooting a love scene with Chris Pratt for last year’s flick Passengers, and pointed out in 2015 that “the best thing that happened this year was when my friend Amy [Schumer] and I got so drunk that we ended up on top of Billy Joel’s piano” during a Chicago concert.
“Jen loves to have a good time, and there’s nothing wrong with that,” says a source. “Her down-to-earth, ‘regular gal’ attitude is part of what makes her so popular. And at the end of the day, she knows how much she can handle.”
