Inside Bill Cosby's Desperate Reality TV Stunt To Make Ends Meet

Disgraced comedian films show about himself to pay huge legal bills.

Debt-ridden perv Bill Cosby is trying to raise quick cash with a reality show that he’s shooting himself, and the disgraced comic recently was caught filming at Ristorante La Veranda in Philadelphia with a full camera crew in tow.

“The restaurant was closed, but some folks were hired to pretend they were customers and tell Bill how much they love him on camera,” an insider revealed.

The 80-year-old disgraced star has blown most of his $500 million fortune, and he hopes the show will drum up enough dough to pay off his massive legal bills since being charged with sexual assault in 2016.

“Right now, Bill has no source of income. A documentary, perhaps for reality television, might sell, and that’s what the team is trying to do,” the source explained.

The once beloved Cosby Show dad still owes big bucks to Brian McMonagle, the $1,500-an-hour attorney who dropped him after winning a mistrial in the assault case involving former Temple University employee Andrea Constand.

Cosby also faces a string of lawsuits lodged by other female accusers.

“Bill’s situation is frightening. He’s shelling out a small fortune to save himself from jail, but he can’t afford to pay much longer,” a source said.

Michael Jackson’s high-powered lawyer, Tom Mesereau, will represent Cosby in the Constand case retrial, which starts in April.

But insiders whispered Mesereau may be working the case pro-bono for publicity — and to suit Cosby’s incredible shrinking budge.

“Look, if you had all the bills that Bill has, you’d look for someone to cut you a break, too,” a source said.

Cosby also hopes the restaurant stunt will clean up his trashed image.

“It was designed to help people, including potential jurors, to see Mr. Cosby as just another guy from Philly,” the source said.
