Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson admittedly loves “a lot of stuff deep-fried,” but that affection isn’t coming without some consequences! On this Wednesday’s episode of The Doctors, the reality star’s mother, “Mama June” Shannon, gets hit with some cold, hard facts about her daughter’s health.
“She is an obese 9-year-old!” Dr. Jennifer Ashton admits in a sneak peek of the episode. And, of course, at the TLC star’s age, most of the blame has to be put on the supervising adult. “It all starts with you,” Dr. Travis Stork tells the 35-year-old. “That’s on you.”
In the intervention episode, we’ll get a sneak peek into Honey Boo Boo’s diet, and find out what she does to exercise, while Mama June will get an important lesson about her youngest child’s health.
