It’s official! George and Amal Clooney are finally parents!
The 56-year-old actor and his wife, 39, welcomed their new son and daughter on June 6.

“This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives,” the couple’s rep said. “Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover well in a few days.”
As Star previously reported, George turned super protective of his pregnant wife after they revealed they were expecting twins in February. Amal, who’s a human rights attorney, has nothing short of a dangerous gig and her safety was always a concern for George, especially when she began carrying their children.

“We’ve decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger,” George told the French magazine, Paris Match earlier this year.
Insiders close to the couple said that George already signed up to be a stay-at-home dad for his new family members, while Amal will go back to work after her maternity leave. The two will be raising the twins in their 17th century mansion in England, which boasts nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
