On the upcoming season of Glee, we’ll be introduced to some new guest stars, like Demi Lovato — but it looks like we won’t be seeing a former series regular at all. In a recent interview, Dianna Agron revealed that she wasn’t even invited back to take place in Season 5’s third episode, a tribute to the late Cory Monteith.
Dianna’s character, Quinn, graduated after Season 3, but unlike many of her costars, the actress played a recurring rather than permanent role in the fourth season. However, her lack of an appearance in what could arguably be the series’ most important episode makes it seem like she’s being phased out all together.
The 27-year-old had nothing but kind words to say about the show, though, as well as about her friend Cory, who passed away unexpectedly after an accidental drug overdose in July. Find out everything she spilled in the video below:
Glee returns on Sept. 26 with a two-part Beatles episode. On Oct. 3, the show will address the death of Cory’s character, Finn, in an episode dedicated to the actor.
