Diane Kruger got more than just a brand-new award to take home from the 2017 Cannes Film Festival — she got her ex’s attention back!
Not long after the 40-year-old star won Best Actress for her role In The Fade, ex Joshua Jackson immediately took to Instagram to share a gushing message about her:
“Having witnessed the integrity and dedication that you bring to every job, I’m over the moon to see you getting the recognition you deserve. Only question is what took ’em so long! CONGRATULATIONS, Josh #dianekruger”
His shoutout to his former girlfriend of 10 years came as a shock, especially since he’s been spotted on multiple dates with other women since their July 2016 breakup.
Reps for both parties confirmed to PEOPLE magazine, “Diane and Joshua have decided to separate and remain friends.”
As previously reported, their breakup may have been a nasty one behind-the-scenes. Rumors were swirling that Diane was secretly hooking up with her Sky costar Norman Reedus behind Josh’s back while still dating.
But Star readers know, the exes have appeared to make up in recent months since the drama unfolded. The two were spotted hugging just one month later at the airport.
