Christina's Nightmare: Inside El Moussa's Heartbreak Over New Man's Cheating Scandal

Is the 'Flip or Flop' star headed for disaster yet again?

IN the wake of her volatile, ongoing divorce from her estranged husband and Flip or Flop cohost, Tarek El Moussa, Christina El Moussa has made it clear that she’s ready to tur n the page on her disastrous marriage and move on with her life. “There are so many unknowns, [but] it’s invigorating to know I am starting over,” she’s said. “It’s fun to be able to create my own destiny right now.”
Christina, however, has involved herself in what could be another ill-fated coupling — and it might implode before it’s hardly even begun. The reality TV beauty, 34, went public with her new boyfriend, retired car dealer Doug Spedding, 55, when they were spotted stepping out in L.A. on June 9. Now, a shocking revelation has already come to light: His on-again, off-again girlfriend of the past five years, Tracy Johnson-Diaz, says Doug slept with her after he had secretly started dating Christina in May! “Doug and I had sex at my home,” Tracy claims in an exclusive interview. “I’m speaking out because she needs to know what this guy is like!”
Tracy, 52, who worked in the car finance business, became close friends with Doug, who owned four successful L.A. dealerships, after they met in 2000 (while they were both with other partners). By 2012, they were both single — and began dating after Tracy succumbed to his charms. “He pushed for the relationship more than I did,” she says. “Doug’s very successful. He has a $130,000 Rolex, a Lamborghini and a Mercedes, and a penthouse apartment. But I just like him as a person. I’ve got my own job and my own money, and he’s been a real gentleman who helped me when I’ve needed it.”
However, by this spring, Tracy and Doug were having problems in their relationship — and she suddenly heard through mutual friends that he and Christina had been hooking up. “I had just gotten back from a Florida vacation on June 7, and Doug immediately texted me asking to meet up so he could get the key to his storage unit,” says Tracy, who adds that after Doug came over, in a moment of weakness, “we started kissing — then we made love.” Afterward, Tracy confronted him about Christina. “I told him I knew about them,” she says. “He admitted they had been seeing each other for a couple of weeks — and said, ‘she didn’t want me to talk to anyone about her.’”
As it turns out, reveals Tracy, this is the second go-round for Doug and Christina! “They dated and lived together when she was in her early 20s, before she was anybody, and a lot less pretty than she is now!” But Tracy adds that a lot has changed with Doug over the years — and Christina might want to reconsider their renewed romance when she finds out.
“He can be possessive and a control freak,” warns Tracy. “He’d cycle over to my place at all hours and I’d see him peering through the windows, spying on me to see if I had anyone else over. I’m sure Christina won’t like that!” Doug has apparently experienced some shocking legal problems, as well. He was forced to sell one of his businesses, Tracy claims, due to a partner’s fraud. In 2010, he reportedly was charged with felony domestic violence and with violating subsequent protective orders on five separate occasions. In 2011, Doug was reportedly arrested for felony drug possession; he pleaded guilty, and charges were dismissed after he completed an 18‑month diversion program.
“I don’t give their relationship much hope, to be honest,” says Tracy. “Doug already moaned to me about how Christina is constantly on her phone and updating social media. He doesn’t like the ‘fame’ thing, and it seems like she’s just in a different world from him.
“I know we’re over and that he’s dumped me for this pretty girl who’s young, famous and has a lot of money, but he’ll break Christina’s heart, just like he did mine. A leopard doesn’t change its spots. He’s going to be furious at me for speaking out, but I have to. It’s the right thing to do.”
