Watch! Carrie Underwood's First Performance Since Her Face-Altering Injury

The country singer needed 40-50 stitches after she fell on her porch back in November

Carrie Underwood has stayed under the radar ever since her horrific accident where she fell on her porch back in November.

The country singer shared a message with fans at the time, explaining that she “might look a little bit different” after needing 40-50 stitches on her face.

Now, the 35-year-old has made her first public appearance, when she hit the stage to perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday and she rocked it!

In an emotional performance, Carrie sang her new single “Cry Pretty,” and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

The American Idol winner also took home the award for best vocal event of the year for her duet with Keith Urban.
