WE tv released a new trailer for their hit show Braxton Family Values, and the sisters are as dramatic as ever. New episodes begin August 16, and they’ll be some of the most emotional yet. Watch the teaser above for a clue of what’s to come.
Toni Braxton announced her engagement to rapper Birdman in February, sparking some jealousy from her sisters. In the new episodes, Toni lands a movie role — but taking it would force her to change her wedding date! Now, will the wedding ever happen?
Of course, that’s not the only drama in this family. Tamar Braxton is still getting divorced from husband Vince Herbert. Star readers know she was recently out and about with a hot new man and posting steamy lingerie selfies. At the beginning of the season, her sisters opened up about her divorce drama.
Meanwhile, Towanda is hiding her relationship, while Trina’s new love life gets more serious. In May, Traci became a grandmother, though she prefers to be called “duchess.” A shocking turn of events will put her in a difficult spot.
But the new teaser trailer focuses on none of these events. Instead, it’s about the drama happening within the show itself!
In June, the whole family walked off set when they discovered they were being underpaid for their time. They demanded higher pay, and the show stopped production indefinitely. Is the teaser a sign that the pay dispute has been cleared up, or will these be the last episodes of Braxton Family Values ever?
