Arnold Schwarzenegger Undergoes Emergency Open-Heart Surgery

The actor suffered difficulties during a complex procedure.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has undergone emergency open-heart surgery.

The 70-year-old former California Governor went to Cedars-Sinai Hospital this Thursday, March 29, for a catheter valve replacement, according to reports.

Schwarzenegger allegedly developed various complications during the procedure and the valve replacement failed. Due to the unexpected difficulties, the Terminator star was then sent in for emergency open-heart surgery.

As readers know the actor has suffered various heart ailments over the years. At the start of his career he even had an aortic valve replaced.

His health issues have often been linked to his use of steroids — as he was once known as the hunkiest Mr. Universe alive — though doctors have claimed his heart disorder is unrelated.

Schwarzenegger is currently in stable condition, according to reports.
