The pro dancers may not have been a huge fan of her appearance as a judge on Dancing With the Stars, but she’s ready to come back anyway! During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show Tuesday, Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller admitted that if the popular dance show were to offer her a full-time job she would “absolutely” take it.
“Especially now that they are venturing into the lyrical and the contemporary and musical theatre,” she gushed. “If it was strictly ballroom, probably not, but now that they’re using all genres of dance — absolutely!”
The reality star also briefly discussed the infamous fight between herself and Dance Mom Kelly Hyland, which aired on their hit Lifetime show last season. “I thought, ‘This is a nightmare and I’m going to wake up,'” she said of the physical fight. “That’s what I thought. And then a million things go through your head — what do you do?”
Unfortunately, Abby wasn’t at liberty to say anything more because there is an ongoing court case happening over the incident.
Still, there was some very exciting news during the interview, when the 47-year-old confirmed that she’s been looking for engagement rings with boyfriend Michael Padula. Don’t expect a wedding anytime soon, though! “We rushed into things because my mom was ill,” Abby explained, referencing her later mother, who passed away in February. “I think it was kind of like…she would be at peace if she knew I had someone to take care of me.”
