Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Set to Return in 2025 as Fans Beg For the ‘Old Show’

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is set to return with some big names after a lackluster 2024 performance.

“The first six angels hitting the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025 runway are…,” the brand announced in an Instagram video on Tuesday, September 2. The clip featured Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Joan Smalls, Alex Consani, Yumi Nu and Anok Yai.

Fans were quick to flood the comments section, begging the lingerie company to bring back “the old show.”

“Please no slickback ponytails this year, we want the bouncy blowouts,” one follower wrote, with many in agreement that big hair is a staple look for the iconic runway. “PLEASE bring back the old VS runaways with tons of glitter, bouncy hair and flawless makeup!!! We all really miss them,” another added.

“Lets just hope that they make it like they did in the 2000s this year,” a third follower chimed in.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show made a comeback in 2024 after a six-year hiatus. While the pared-down show featured iconic supermodels like Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss — and massive angel wings — it fell short among fans and critics.

“But like so many brands attempting to redress their previous wrongs and missteps, Victoria’s Secret needs to remember that there’s still fun — in fact, more fun — to be had when you embrace a truly broad spectrum of diversity and inclusivity,” Harper’s Bazaar wrote following the show.

Meanwhile, Allure likened the runway to “an abandoned airplane hangar or maybe a really big high school gym.”

This year’s show will be held in New York City on October 15.
