Most people who post a TikTok with their mom get a few heart emojis and a comment about the family resemblance. Arlene Lee got all that, plus someone asking whether her “sister” was single.
On Sunday, October 11, the 24-year-old social media star shared a video of the pair dancing to BBE AJ’s “Got That Feelin,” featuring Boosie Badazz. They coordinated in black, with Lee wearing a cropped top and loose-fitting pants while her mom sported a button-up tunic.
The routine lasted just a few seconds, but the duo made quite an impression.
“Hi mum ,” a fan wrote, while another noticed their “same smile .” Others dropped hearts, kissing faces and fire emojis. One admirer took things a step further, asking, “Is ur sister single?”
It wasn’t the first time Lee had recruited her mom for a little choreography. Just two days earlier, the pair tackled PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” once again in coordinating dark outfits.
They’ve been sharing the screen for much longer than that, though. Back in June 2025, a viral TikTok of the two side by side had viewers comparing Lee’s mom to Michelle Yeoh and Lucy Liu. That post had its share of hopefuls, too. “Does your mother have a boyfriend?” one viewer asked, while another skipped straight to “My future mother-in-law.”
Her mom isn’t the only relative with a fan club. Lee’s grandmother, affectionately dubbed “Granny Lee,” has become a favorite in her own right and occasionally runs the show. “My grandma told me to copy her ,” Lee captioned an October 2025 video. She’s even given her grandmother a turn at “Gangnam Style,” joking that her rendition was “the calm version.” Grandpa has gotten in on the fun as well.
Beyond her family cameos, Lee keeps busy with an extended circle of creators. Sisters Amina and Yemada are frequent co-stars, showing up in dance challenges and blooper reels alike. She’s also appeared alongside Sophie Rain in a TikTok that has racked up more than 4.5 million views, and counts Kaitlyn and Anna Bubolz as her “triplets.”
Of course, Lee’s creativity goes well beyond TikTok dances. She started posting online in 2017, and by 2021, she was making moves in fashion, teaming up with FINESSE to design her own outfit, “The Arlene Drop.” She also joined the brand’s House of Finesse collective, where influencers modeled the label’s clothing and created content together. The concept even caught the attention of Vogue, which featured the collective that May. Today, Lee’s combined social media following tops 9 million.
