Kelly Clarkson isn’t walking off the daytime stage just yet — despite a recent report claiming her eponymous talk show was about to be canceled.
On Wednesday, January 26, a representative for the talk show shut down the chatter, insisting to Entertainment Weekly that there are no plans for the show to end.
“Rumor!” the rep told the outlet, noting that NBC will announce any changes directly. “We’re not even halfway through season 7!”

The denial comes after an insider told Page Six last week that the talk show was “not sustainable anymore” amid a shrinking daytime TV landscape. However, another insider told the outlet that those speculating about cancellation were “jumping the gun.”
Still, as Star previously reported, the Voice coach, 43, has privately been wrestling with whether she even wants to continue. A source told us the singer has been considering stepping away to spend more time with her children — River Rose, 11, and Remington, 9 — especially after relocating to New York and coping with the heartbreaking death of ex-husband Brandon Blackstock in August 2025.
