Taylor Swift and Blake Lively Reportedly No Longer ‘Speaking’ Following ‘It Ends With Us’ Drama

Bad blood? Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are reportedly not on the best of terms right now.

Nearly eight months after the Gossip Girl alum’s legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni began, a source tells People, “Taylor and Blake aren’t speaking.”

Though it’s unclear what made Swift, 35, and Lively, 37, go their separate ways, nearly eight months ago, the “Shake it Off” singer was dragged into the Gossip Girl alum’s legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni.

Speculation that the A-listers’ close-knit bond was strained began in January 2025, after Baldoni, 41, claimed in a legal filing that Swift was involved in a meeting at Lively’s New York City home regarding the film.

He also alleged that the A Simple Favor actress referred to herself as Khaleesi and the singer-songwriter as one of her “dragons,” in reference to Game of Thrones.

Though TMZ reported that Baldoni’s legal team initially sent the 14-time Grammy Award winner a subpoena to be a witness in the legal battle in May, they eventually dropped it weeks later.

A source told Us Weekly that month, “There’s been radio silence between Taylor and Blake since the subpoena was dropped.”

The news that the women are not in communication comes as fans have begun to speculate that a few tracks — notably, a song titled “Ruin the Friendship” — on Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, could have been inspired by Lively.
