Sydney Sweeney’s Pals Encouraging Her to Embrace Being ‘Talented’ Instead of Going For ‘Shock Value’
The headlines write themselves when Sydney Sweeney shows up in one of her trademark cleavage-baring outfits. She “puts on a show” or wears a “jaw-dropping red carpet gown.” It’s no secret that the 28-year-old is unapologetic about her, er, assets.
After her 2024 appearance hosting SNL, for instance, cast member Bowen Yang revealed that “she was practically begging” to be in sketches — like one about Hooters — “with jokes about [her] boobs.”
Now a source tells Star some people in the Housemaid star’s circle are advising her to move beyond presenting herself as just a body.
“It’s sad to see how reliant she is on being known for her big boobs,” says the source. “She’s actually a talented actress who’s making big moves behind the scenes too.” (She created her own production company in 2020.)
While the source says no one is telling the actress to show up in a turtleneck, “Her friends don’t understand why she wants to reinforce this image that she’s all about shock value. Instead of stepping into her power, she’s acting like a no-name OnlyFans girl.”
