The premiere of House of Stassi featured Beau Clark making a candid confession about his marriage to TV personality Stassi Schroeder.

The Thursday, July 30, episode centered on Clark opening up about the toll their imbalanced home life has taken on him. The couple, who share kids Hartford, 5, and Messer, 2, married in 2020 after meeting on the Bravo reality show Vanderpump Rules in 2017.

During a sit-down with Taylor Strecker, Schroeder’s close friend and cohost of the STASSI with Tay podcast, Beau, 46, admitted to how strained things have gotten with his wife. “I just got so detached from her that it’s like we’re roommates,” he said. “I don’t feel worthy.”

He confided he’d been avoiding confronting the issue. “I’m trying to balance wanting her to have her space and to be able to not stress out when she’s working,” Clark told Strecker. “But then also I’m sitting here and I’m angry and resentful.”

Later in the episode, the couple discussed Clark’s feelings. “I just literally just feel like a 1950s housewife where I have my apron on and I’m cleaning everything while feeding the kids,” he told Schroeder. “Sometimes that’s how I feel because we don’t have that connection all the time.”

Visibly emotional, Schroeder responded by pushing him to open up more instead of holding it in. “I want you to say things,” she told him. “I want you to say things the way that you tell me you don’t want things to build up. I need to make more of an effort.”

In a confessional, Schroeder, 38, defended her husband’s role in their marriage, crediting him for showing up through her toughest years. “All I know is him being with me in the thick of it every day — for the last five years,” she said. “I became a mom and he was with me the whole entire time.”

When producers pressed Schroeder on whether Clark’s admissions gave her pause about returning to reality TV, she made clear she wasn’t backing down, insisting she’d “work through” whatever issues surfaced.

Schroeder first appeared on The Amazing Race and Queen Bees before rising to fame on Vanderpump Rules. She has since returned to reality TV on Vanderpump Villa before starring in her own series.
