Ice, ice, baby! On the June 25 episode of Complex’s GOAT Talk, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer admitted that rapper and actor Ice Cube, now 56, caught her eye when she was just a tot.

The 32-year-old Only Murders in the Building star told Karol G, “I had the biggest crush on him when I was, like, five. It’s so weird, but I just thought he would protect me!”

Maybe she can cast him in a movie? “When I was 13 years old, I really thought I was going to marry him,” the Barbie director, 41, confessed on Late Night with Seth Meyers, adding that she carried around a folder filled with the now 50-year-old’s photos that she’d printed from the internet.

“I kissed his picture every night before I went to bed. I was really sure that one day we would be together.”

Before she was an entertainment mogul, Reese, 49, made her big-screen debut as a lovelorn teen in 1991’s The Man on the Moon. That’s when she caught Matthew’s attention, the 55-year-old admitted when the pair were guests on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“[Reese] was one of my early, early crushes, and if you’ve seen [the movie] it’s inevitable. What’s not to have a crush on?”

I was, like, a huge One Direction fan, and I was like The Voice [or] X Factor?’” she said on The Late Late Show with James Corden of deciding which singing competition to try out for, adding that she opted for the latter because the boy band featuring Harry Styles had gotten its start there.

“This is really embarrassing…but I was literally like, ‘I’m auditioning for X Factor because I will marry Harry Styles.”
