Robert Irwin Shocks Fans by Debuting New Look After ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Win: ‘Should I Keep It?’
Robert Irwin recently played around with his appearance, and fans shared their opinions!
On Saturday, January 3, the wildlife conservationist, 22, posted a video on his social media accounts in which he rocked a mustache as part of a prank.
“It has been a minute since I’ve shaved,” Robert, who donned a beard and mustache combo, explained in the video. “I’ve had like a week off filming, but I’m about to go back on set. I’m going to take this opportunity to play a little prank on the crew.”
The Dancing with the Stars champion then shaved off his beard, leaving him with just a mustache. Robert joked around a bit, comparing himself to singer Benson Boone, Tom Selleck from Magnum, P.I. and Top Gun characters, before surprising his crew and mother, Terri Irwin, with his new look.
“Hey guys, I just wanted to try something a little bit different,” the photographer declared. “What do we think…we like it?”
“I, as your mother… I’m incredibly proud,” Terri, 61, jokingly responded.
“Now I’ve got to get rid of it. Kind of want to keep it,” Robert told the camera in a separate clip. “What do you think, Mom, should I keep it?”
“Definitely,” she responded while shaking her head no.
The TV personality captioned his post, “New year. New look,”
Fans took to the comment section with many swooning over Robert’s facial hair.
“The crazy part is it doesn’t even look bad 😂,” one fan commented.
“I personally think it looks great Robert 💁🏼♀️,” a second wrote.

However, some fans agreed with Terri that the stache should go.
