Reese Witherspoon Ditches Fad Diets as Boyfriend Oliver Haarmann ‘Makes Her Feel Perfect’ (Exclusive)

Reese Witherspoon believes her new German financier boyfriend Oliver Haarmann is the perfect gentleman, according to friends – and they say he’s even convinced her to give up unnecessary diets.

“Dating Oliver has been such a refreshing change for her,” a source exclusively spills to Star. “He is so much more normal than most men in the Hollywood ecosystem. He enjoys a good meal without talking about the carbs or calories [and] he doesn’t obsess over appearances like a lot of the guys she’s dated in the past.”

His “down to earth outlook” on life has also “rubbed off” on the Legally Blonde actress, 49, and her “mindset” has begun to shift when it comes to beauty standards in Hollywood.

“She’s pretty well lived on a diet since she was in her teens to keep up with the exacting standards of the industry,” adds the source. “But she’s now shaking her head at that way of thinking and living.”

“It’s sad to her that the exterior stuff takes up so much time and energy for so many people in Hollywood, herself included,” continues the source. “She feels so lucky to have found a partner that makes her feel perfect exactly as she is.”

Witherspoon and Haarmann reportedly started seeing each other in summer 2024, nearly one year after her divorce from ex-husband Jim Toth was finalized.

Prior to his relationship with the mother of three – who shares daughter Ava, 25, and son Deacon, 21, with Ryan Phillippe, as well as son Tennessee, 12, with Toth – Haarmann was married to ex-wife Mala Gaonkar. They welcomed two sons together.

Aside from being a financier, he is also a minority co-owner of the New York Islanders hockey team.

While they’ve kept their romance fairly private over the past year, the lovebirds were spotted packing on the PDA on a yacht in Saint-Tropez earlier this month, according to photos shared by TMZ.

As Star previously reported, Witherspoon’s relationship with Haarmann looks to be getting serious — so much so that they’re considering shacking up!

“They’ve talked about cohabitating in New York,” an insider told Star. “She’d like to have a home base there as opposed to just meeting up in hotels.”

“Reese never expected to feel this way again, but she’s embracing it,” the insider added. “She might even be open to marriage again. She’s doesn’t know what’s in store for them, and is eager to find out.”
